Natalie Portman, whose Miss Dior campaign just dropped , has now spoken out about John Galliano's "I love Hitler" rant .

According to the New York Times , the actress released the following statement on Monday:

"I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments that surfaced today. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way."

The Times adds , "it was not known how Ms. Portman's contract with Dior might be affected." Although Portman was expected by fashion insiders to hit Sunday night's Oscars in Dior, she donned Rodarte instead -- her stylist Kate Young told the newspaper that had been the plan since the beginning.
