Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Are Engaged (PHOTO)

Nate Berkus has had some big news lately, between moving across the country , baby rumors , and the announcement of his new TV show "Renovation Nation." But today we learned something that takes the cake: US Weekly broke the news this morning that Nate Berkus popped the question to partner Jeremiah Brent.

Yep, Berkus and his adorable boyfriend of almost nine months got engaged at the top of Machu Picchu in Peru on Monday, April 8. The two were in South America accompanying a team from One Kings Lane on a shopping trip for an upcoming sale curated by the designer.

Brent, who was reportedly completely surprised by the act, took to Twitter on the days leading up to their travels about his excitement , writing "HERE WE COME PERU!" and "I can't wait!!!!," but we're guessing he had no idea how life-changing the trip would actually be.

Lucky for us, he posted a stunning photo on Instagram on the big day, and we can assume by his hashtags that Berkus already proposed:

We're so thrilled Berkus has found love again, after tragically losing his partner , photographer Fernando Bengoechea, in the 2004 tsunami. So now this big question is: Where will the wedding take place?
