Olivia Rodrigo Reveals She Sleeps 13 Hours A Day Because Shes So Exhausted From Touring

The pop star spilled the tea amid her Guts Tour.

A Grammy-winning pop star needs her sleep, OK?

Amid her Guts Tour, singer Olivia Rodrigo , 21, spoke to Complex about how catching zzzs while on the road helped her recover from her taxing performances.

Well, I sleep so much on tour. I sleep for 13 hours a day sometimes. Im so exhausted, she said in the story that was published Friday. So that passes a lot of the time. But Ive just been reading, and Ive been watching all of my comfort shows.

Ive been watching Sex and the City every day to make myself feel like Im grounded and at home, the Vampire singer added.

Despite being a busy bee on tour, Rodrigo, who is based in Los Angeles, shared that shes able to snuggle up in her own bed anytime she performs at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Its amazing. Its kind of weird, Ive been on tour for so long in various cities around the world, so its interesting to just wake up in my own bed and be like, Oh, time to play a show today! she explained. It throws off my routine a little bit, but its so nice to be home, and have all my friends and family come to the shows. Its a really good vibe.

Elsewhere in the interview, Rodrigo gushed over being really proud about her sophomore album Guts ahead of its one-year anniversary next month.

I worked really hard on this album and it wasnt always easy, so Im really happy that I persevered and ended up making something that Im really proud of, she said. It taught me a lot about discipline and creativity, and how sometimes even when youre not, like, Im just dying to sit at the piano, sometimes its just [important to] hone in on your craft.
