Most of my spiritual life, Ive been interested in polygamy, says Thom, a former convict-turned-pastor. You read through the Old Testament, you hear about all types of men who had more than one wife.

Thom, 61, married Belinda seven years ago. In June 2015, he spiritually wed and was expecting a child with 19-year-old Reba with Belindas blessing.

Woman Says She Was 'Elated' When Husband Took A Second 'Spiritual' Wife

Linda and I knew at the beginning of our marriage that a polygamist lifestyle may fit us, Thom says.

He says he and Belinda were looking for another wife to add to the family for a few years when they reconnected with Reba in 2015, whom Thom had known since she was 8 years old.

It just happened one day. We hugged, and I thought, Oh, man, Im in trouble, Thom recalls. Things started clicking between Reba and I, and I started having strong feelings for Reba.

Thom and Reba started dating and got married three months later in June 2015.

Some people have a problem with the fact that Im 61 years old and Rebas 19 years old, and I dont see a problem with it for God, because age doesnt matter to me. Its a spiritual situation, Thom says.

I think my husband taking a second wife is a huge blessing to our family, Belinda says.
