Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Thursday called for More unity as well as More ravens while sharing a social media video in which he appears beside multiple birds on a balcony at his Los Angeles home.
The independent presidential candidate and conspiracy theorist, who told The New York Times in June that he has a couple of pet ravens , filmed four birds as some were begging for food behind him.
Look what I came home to, said Kennedy, adding that the ravens go to his railing as soon as he calls them.
Theyre very, very responsive and theyre getting more and more confident every day.
Kennedy who has been mocked over the ravens, which in his words include a mom, a dad and their two babies added that the birds have extraordinary vocalizations and make a wide range of clicking sounds before he then imitated the noises.
For me, its just fun to watch, said Kennedy, whose caption to the video called for unity just as the GOP has been advocating for the same with mixed results .
Kennedy said last month that hes let the ravens join him for meditations on his balcony.
He told the Times that hes kept peacocks, owls and guinea fowl as pets over the years. He also said that food has helped bring the birds closer and closer to him.
By the end of the summer, theyll be eating from my hands, he told the outlet.
