Ryan Reynolds Looks Totally Gross Doing His Best Hugh Jackman Impression

Ryan Reynolds was just trying to do Hugh Jackman a favor, but it doesn't look like it's going to work out. The "Deadpool" actor pretended to be Jackman -- Australian accent and all -- in this totally terrifying video posted to Jackman's Instagram.

Apparently, by impersonating Jackman, Reynolds was just trying to convince fans to vote for him as People's Sexiest Man Alive. The only problem? Reynolds did the impression in super grotesque "Deadpool" makeup. 

"G'day mate," says Reynolds in the video, smiling. "Hugh Jackman here! Just reminding you to get your votes in for People's Sexiest Man Alive. Cover's comin' up." 

Reynolds was voted People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2010  and the magazine bestowed the title upon Jackman in 2008 . Neither actor needs any help convincing us that they're sexy, but then again -- in that makeup  -- Reynolds might need a LOT of campaigning to undo the damage to our eyes! 

"Deadpool" is set to hit theaters in February 2016.
