Scarlett Johansson has shared her thoughts on her husband Colin Josts brutal Saturday Night Live joke swap.

If you didnt know, Colin and his fellow SNL comedian Michael Che sit down for an annual joke swap on the show, during which the pair read out pretty brutal jokes theyve written for each other without seeing them beforehand.

During the SNL Season 49 finale, which aired back in May, Colin read out a joke about Johansson, whom hes been married to since 2020.

Colin laughed as he read aloud, Oh God... ChatGPT has released a new voice assistant feature inspired by Scarlett Johanssons AI character in Her, which Ive never bothered to watch because without that body, whats the point of listening.

Well, during a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Johansson described the joke as tame compared to some of the others that Colin and Michael make.

Thats like a tame version if you guys have ever seen the joke swap, Johansson said.

It is brutal. It is brutal. I feel like every year, it gets worse Its just terrible. Its painful, she added. They do it at Christmas, too. Its like a little gift to each other.
