Seth Meyers hilariously delved into Donald Trump’s less-than-smooth transition to power on Thursday.
The “Late Night ” host explored how the president-elect’s cabinet picks were shaping up and how he was communicating with foreign heads of state (think premium rate phone numbers into Trump Tower.)
“Presidential transitions are delicate things and in the end, history remembers the presidency far more than the transition,” Meyers said. “But we’re starting to get signals from Trump takeover about how he’ll govern.”
“Reports of the inner workings of the transition have not been great,” the comedian said before agreeing with one journalist’s analogy of the process taking a decidedly “Game of Thrones ” turn.
