Former Disney Channel star, Skai Jackson , was arrested last week after an alleged domestic violence incident.

The Jessie and Bunkd alum, 22, was arrested on Aug. 8 after she was seen shoving her boyfriend amid an argument at Universal Studios Hollywood, the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department confirmed to People .

Authorities reportedly witnessed Jackson pushing the unidentified victim after reviewing surveillance footage from the Los Angeles-area theme park, according to the outlet.

Based on the initial investigation, it was determined Ms. Jackson was the primary aggressor and was arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery, an LASD spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times in a statement.

She was booked into the West Hollywood Sheriffs Station and released hours later.

HuffPost has reached out to the Los Angeles district attorneys office and Jacksons reps for comment.

There were no weapons involved and no one was injured in the incident, the sheriffs department said.

It is unknown if any charges will be filed against Jackson.
