Fox News' Steve Doocy Makes Offer To Kamala Harris That She May Want To Refuse

Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy invited Democratic nominee Kamala Harris to come on the show and declared she shouldnt be afraid. (Watch the video below.)

Doocy used a guest appearance Tuesday by Harris spokesperson Ian Sams to make his offer. He and Sams lightly sparred over the Harris camps unsuccessful attempt to unmute microphones at all times during the debate later in the day with former President Donald Trump on ABC. The host then mentioned the rare Harris media appearance on CNN last month.

You keep talking about Fox News viewers, Doocy said to Sams. She should come on Fox and speak to their concerns directly. And weve got a big couch here. It would be great to have her on the program. Ian, come on. Invite her. Tell her I officially invited her on Fox & Friends.

Thats very kind, and I will relay that to the vice president for sure, Sams replied. Shes talked at the White House a number of times to Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich, excellent reporters who are there at the White House. Shes gonna be doing more events across the country, hitting the campaign trail just later this week, going to North Carolina, going to Pennsylvania. Shes gonna be doing more interviews. Shes gonna be doing more events where she can engage directly with voters and talk to them.

Well, bring her on Fox & Friends! She shouldnt be afraid of ... Fox & Friends! Doocy exclaimed. If she cant talk to us, God forbid how she deals with Putin.

We aint afraid of Fox & Friends! Sams said. Im sitting here talking to you right now. Im enjoying it very much.

Doocy told Sams he appreciated the visit.

But getting Sams boss, who has  been hit with numerous attacks by Fox News hosts and guests , not to mention the candidate they promote, to occupy said couch seems unlikely.
