In a time when accessories are king (and so are blisters ), it's cause for celebration if you find a pair of shoes that are chic, versatile, work-appropriate, weekend-appropriate and somewhat (even a little bit) comfortable.
So we basically threw a parade when we discovered Rothy's .
The new line of flats is like nothing you've ever worn before. For one, the shoes are made from recycled water bottles (yes, really) that have been 3-D knitted into a crazy-soft fabric that stretches around your toes. (No pinching!) And two, they come in adorable woven patterns like nautical stripes and buffalo plaid alongside basic solids , of course. The rounded toes are a cool $125 and the pointed toes are $145, but considering they're moisture-wicking and machine-washable, they'll probably last you several years.
We opted for a pointy-toe pair of gray camo , and we'll happily report back when we take them off in, oh, a decade.
