When Lauren Hutton first burst onto the scene, it seemed as though no one would ever be able to replicate her famous gap-toothed smile -- until Lindsey Wixson 's million-dollar grin was spotted on just about every catwalk at Fashion Week. We also thought that Linda Evangelista 's killer bone structure and Naomi Campbell 's long gams were exceptional, but then Daria Werbowy and Jourdan Dunn appeared with perfect cheekbones and legs for days.

Many top models pioneered their own look, but almost all of them have modern day doppelgngers who push boundaries on their own in the 21st century.

To prove our theory, we've decided to round up a few of our favorite top models and their contemporary counterparts. Check out our list below and tell us who we're missing!
