And on Monday’s broadcast of “The Daily Show ,” the host used the incident to explain why Trump would never, ever actually run in to confront a school shooter (despite his claims to the contrary).

“Really? That guy? That guy was gonna run in and stop a school shooter?” asked Noah. “Get the fuck out of here, man.”
