A shocking CNN report Thursday focuses on extremely racist and explicit posts Mark Robinson, the North Carolina Republican gubernatorial nominee, appears to have published on a pornography websites message board between 2008 and 2012.
In the posts, an account that appears to be Robinsons advocates for the return of slavery, writing, I would certainly buy a few and describing the author as a black NAZI.
Other posts describe an appreciation for watching transgender pornography and wistfully recalling the time as a teenager he spent hours secretly peeping on women in public gym showers.
The account and the comments predate Robinsons political debut. According to CNN, Robinson used his full name on his profile as well as an email address hes used elsewhere on the internet. Robinson also used the same username, minisoldr, elsewhere online.
Robinson tried to get ahead of the story Thursday by comparing himself to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, dismissing the contents as salacious tabloid trash and pledging to remain in the race.
