Trump Souvenir Vendors Brawl Before Michigan MAGA Rally

The former president's campaign team said the Trump merchandise sellers were ejected.

Vendors of Donald Trump -themed merchandise fought each other and were ejected before the Republican nominee headlined a rally at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan on Thursday, the Michigan Advance reported .

Video shared by reporter Anna Liz Nichols showed several blows exchanged in a confrontation involving at least four men on the campus. Watch it here.

Photographers for The Associated Press and Agence France-Presse also identified the combatants as sellers of Trump-related souvenirs, as did the former presidents campaign.

The Trump campaign reports that all of the individuals involved in the altercation were vendors, none were attendees and all were ejected from the premises, a Trump campaign official texted the Michigan Advance.

HuffPost reached out to Saginaw city police and university police for comment.

A school spokesperson told Newsweek , I do not believe University Police were involved in the response to the altercation, as it is my understanding that they were inside the Ryder Center, [the] site of the campaign event, at the time of the incident.

Trump later gave a speech in the schools rec center, repeating lies that he won the 2020 election, The New York Times reported .
