The Ventana Home In Tucson, Arizona Is A Desert Marvel... But Oddly, It Won't Sell (PHOTOS)

After touring the property, the mystery's got us baffled.
|

After lingering unsold since it first hit the market in March, the real estate group Russ Lyon Sotheby's International who has the listing for the Ventana Home in Tucson, Arizona made a bold move: They raised the asking price by an extra million to $5,595,000. Though we think this desert marvel is worth every penny, it oddly won't sell.

Built in a gated community in 2007, the impressive estate comes in at 6,480 square feet with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and views that overlook the surrounding desert canyon. To add to the mystery, the house, which was designed by architect Rick Joy, is the recipient of several prestigious architectural awards . And after learning that the house includes an outdoor luxury pool and the architect's hand-picked furniture, we were floored.

Needless to say, this makes us wonder what it takes to sell a beautiful piece of real estate these days. Go on and take a look at the desert property for yourself, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.
