Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' Made From 7,000 Dominoes (VIDEO)

Domino master FlippyCat is back, and his creation just might be his pice de rsistance. We originally saw "Van Dominogh" on Gizmodo , and the recreation of Van Gogh's "The Starry Night" is worth watching.

FlippyCat's first attempt was ruined when a screw from his camera rig triggered an early fall. The second round took 11 hours and a whopping 7,067 dominoes. The entire process is documented in the stop-motion video above. FlippyCat previously achieved YouTube fame for his "Domona Lisa " in 2007, but this particular work really seems to solidify his mastery of the form, as the splayed dominoes are perfectly suited to Van Gogh's expressive, swirling strokes.
