President Donald Trump mocked MSNBC journalist Ali Velshi, whom police shot in the kneecap with a rubber bullet while he was covering peaceful protests over the police killing of George Floyd.
He also praised Minnesota supporters' "good genes," adding, "A lot of it is about the genes," in a troubling, disjointed rally speech.
Ronald Klain said there is a crisis of both confidence and competence."
"The president made not a whole lot of sense there," said Ali Velshi.
"In the end, we built it and they didnt really come."
