Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) assigned Trump homework after the former president described the bipartisan border security bill as "betrayal of America."
James Lankford of Oklahoma ripped his fellow Republicans for putting politics ahead of an issue they profess to care so much about.
Republicans claimed the bill, which is aimed at blocking state legislative efforts preventing travel for out-of-state abortions, would lead to "abortion tourism."
"You fully recognize the importance of including Native representation at the highest levels," tribal leaders told Oklahoma Sens. Jim Inhofe and James Lankford.
Sen. James Lankford made headlines when he vowed to "step in" if the president-elect wasn't granted access to classified briefings by the end of last week.
