Filmmaker Cord Jeffersons hilarious satire, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, is also scattered with unformed ideas and characters.
The actor is reportedly being eyed for the role of a villain in "The Batman," while Jeffrey Wright is in negotiations to play Commissioner Gordon.
The movie is set for release in the U.K. on April 3, and in the U.S. five days later.
