After the "Modern Family" star split from Joe Manganiello, she expected the worst.
The "Modern Family" alum announced her divorce in July the same month the SAG-AFTRA strike put hundreds of thousands out of work.
Vergara recently posted photos from a vacation without her husband, and the couple put their mansion on the market in May.
"When your husband is carrying a little surprise for u," the actress wrote on Instagram.
"I am secure enough not to take it all that seriously."
