An annual report calculated that women directed more than 10% of 2019's top films. But clearly, Hollywood still has a long way to go.

After "Crazy Rich Asians" in 2018, this year will see a growing range of Asian representation in movies and TV.
Premiering on July 12, the film from director Lulu Wang earned critical acclaim at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
