WHAT'S HAPPENING
The hand-woven gift contains 49 shells, each inscribed with the name of a victim who died in this month's massacre.
The group was initially going to give the money to a number of nonprofits.
"In spite of a few hateful, broken human beings in this world ... people ARE kind."

It will address their short- and long-term needs.
