I remain deeply worried that the White House just doesnt appreciate how dire our situation has become, said Siamak Namazi, Iran's longest-held U.S. prisoner.
Baquer Namazi is 80 years old and his family says he's on medication for a heart condition.
Hopes for his release were dashed on Saturday -- at least for now.
Jason Rezaian is coming home.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Businessman Siamak Namazi endured interrogations as the story dropped.
The attacks are believed to be linked to the arrest of an Iranian-American businessman in Tehran, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The report comes as Washington has urged Tehran to free three other Americans it is holding.
