The Kincade fire in Sonoma County is raging north of Santa Rosa, California, where fires burned thousands of homes and killed dozens of people two years ago.
The state's Kincade and Getty fires have together destroyed more than 100 buildings and forced thousands of evacuations.
About 100,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate and more than 2 million are expected to lose power.
The blaze is in Sonoma County, where two years ago this month dozens died in one of the states deadliest wildfires.
