The administration has finalized its reversal of a Trump-era rule that gutted protections across 9 million acres of Alaska's Tongass National Forest.
The administration will end large-scale logging of old-growth trees in Americas Amazon" as part of its effort to fight global climate change.
So much for "creating a conservation stewardship legacy second only to Teddy Roosevelt.
Alaska's Tongass National Forest is the world's largest intact temperate forest. Trump plans to open it up for logging but the tribes living there are taking a stand.

The plan would roll back protections for 9.2 million acres of Alaskas Tongass National Forest.
The Alaska senator is sneakily collaborating with the Trump administration in eliminating protections and handing sacred land to corporations.
