The Oklahoma Supreme Court has dismissed a lawsuit of the last two survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre who were seeking reparations.

Vernon African Methodist Episcopal Church was largely destroyed in 1921 after a white mob burned, killed, looted and leveleld a 35-square-block area.
"I still see Black men being shot, Black bodies lying in the street," said 107-year-old Viola Fletcher, who testified along with two other survivors of the 1921 attack.
Kevin Stitt was taken off the panel a week after he signed a bill outlawing the teaching of some race and racism concepts in public schools.
