2 arrested in stabbing outside Caprice nightclub, 3 sent to hospital

Three menare in hospital after astabbing outside a popular downtown Vancouver nightclub.

The attack happened during a fight in front of the Caprice Nightclub on GranvilleStreet early Sunday morning.

Witnesses said they heard screamingoutside the front doors around 3 a.m.

"You can see where the blanket is out there, where the guy got stabbed," said Riley Ruckman, who was inside the club when the attack happened.

"It's really sad because it actually was a pretty good environment, and then we just went outside and everything just changed."

Vancouver Police said three men were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

They saidtwo people were arrested a short distance away and remain in police custody.

The VPD's Major Crimes Section is handling the investigation.
