Salvation Army Thrift Store robbed in Airdrie
Police say man threatened staff with a weapon and demanded cash before fleeing on foot
RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at a Salvation Army Thrift Store on Main Street in Airdrie, Alta. on Saturday.
Police say a lone male walked into the store about 4 p.m., brandished a weapon and demanded cash from the store employee.
He was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
The man is described as about five-foot-seven and 150 pounds with black, greying hair and light grey facial hair. He was wearing a green jacket with a hood, black pants and white sunglasses.
Police are also looking for surveillance video from businesses in the area.
