Low oil prices have been plaguing the province over the last year, and it's the first time Albertans will see a tabled budget from its new NDP government elected last spring.
CBC Calgary's website will haveanalysis and features about the budget all day, with a live bloggathering reaction after the budget is unveiled.
Listen to CBC Radio One starting at 3 p.m. for a special budget edition of the Homestretch. Host Doug Dirks will be joined by University of Calgary political scientistMelaneeThomas for analysis.
