RCMP investigate death of 2-year-old girl in Cardston, Alta.
The girl was taken to hospital on Aug. 2 and police were called the next day.
Toddler was taken to hospital suffering serious injuries on Aug. 2 and died 4 days later
Jan. 31, 2020 update: RCMP said the investigation into the case had been completed. The evidence in this case does not support charges, RCMP said, and no further information will be released.
The death of a two-year-old girl who was taken to hospital in Cardstonsuffering serious injuries last weekis being investigated by RCMPmajor crimes.
The toddler was taken to hospital on Aug. 2 and police were called the next day.
The girl died on Monday and an autopsy was done in Calgary.
RCMP say they are working with several agencies as part of the investigation.
Cardston is about 230 kilometres south of Calgary.
