1 dead after single-vehicle rollover north of Beiseker

One person is dead after a single-vehicle collision north of Beiseker Thursday night.

Driver was airlifted to a Calgary hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries

One person is dead after a single-vehicle collision north of Beiseker, RCMP said Thursday night.

According to an RCMP release, a pickup truck travelling between Beiseker and Acme lost control around 7:10 p.m., rolling several times.

A 34-year-old malepassenger from Calgary was ejected from the vehicle. He was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver, a 30-year-old women from Acme, was airlifted to hospital by STARS air ambulance in life-threatening condition, RCMP said.

Highway 806 wasrerouted for several hours Thursday night as emergency personnel respondedto the incident.

Beiseker RCMPofficers continueto investigate the circumstances that led to the rollover.
