Three people face charges in what Calgary police say is anorganized crime ring trafficking in fentanyl and stolen vehicles.

The investigation began in August2015 following an anonymous tip.

On Tuesday, police searched a home along Sage Hill Gardens in the northwest where they seized the following items:

  • 14 fentanyl pills.
  • 2.8 grams of methamphetamine.
  • 179 grams of marijuana.
  • One electronic scale.
  • Four stolen skid steers.
  • One stolen travel trailer.
  • One Honda Civic.

The Honda Civic found at the property has been linked to the homicide of David Quach. He was shot to death in November on a driveway along California Boulevardin the city's northeast.
