1 man dead after shots fired at Eau Claire parkade
Police say they do not believe there is any risk to the public
Calgary police say one man has died after shots were fired near the Eau Claire Market parkade.
Officers were called to the area shortly after 8 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found one deceased male in an underground parkade. He cannot be identified at this time, pending the results of an autopsy next week.
The area around the crime scene is currently closed off. No suspects are currently in custody, but police say they do not believe there is any risk to the public.
Police could not confirm whether they believe the incident to be targeted.
