A man whosenamehas not yet been released by police was shot and killed while visiting a friend's home on Saturday. Witnesses say the attackers wore masks and sped off in a car.

Sarah Nicole Rae, 24, was found stabbed to death in a residence in the area on Aug. 3, while a 17-year-old male died after a stabbing attackon Manora Place N.E. on July 30.

Some residents said they have raised concerns about drugs and crime in the area with police, and are feeling frustrated.

"We're trying to do the right thing and help them out and we're told to keep our nose out of it," said Lila Reynolds.

Police said they are taking those calls seriously, and they hope the public will continue tocallto help them curb crime.

Investigators said they don't believe the most recentshooting was random but have not said if it's related to gangs.

"It's shocking, it's scary, but it's still our street," said Marlborough resident Elaine Paquet. "It's still our home."
