A man police were seeking on warrants for domestic violence who may have been injured during the alleged altercation has turned himself in.

Junius Omarr Golar, 37, contacted the Calgary Police Service's domestic conflict unit Monday afternoon and was taken into custody without incident.

He is charged with uttering threats, two counts of assault and two counts of failing to comply with a court order.

Police had earlier said they were concerned about Golar's well being as he may have sustained injuries during the alleged domestic incident on Aug. 15. However, he was in good health when he turned himself in.
