Man attacked with machete in Red Deer robbery
RCMP searching for man driving black Ford SUV
Police are looking for a suspect after a man in Red Deer was attacked with a machete and robbed on Tuesday morning.
The attack happened in an alley behind 60th Street near Taylor Drive, RCMP said in a release.
The victim sufferedinjuries that were not life-threatening after being attackedand robbed of his wallet and cellphone.
The suspect is described as a white male, about six feet tall. He left the scene in a black, newer modelFord SUV.
RCMP are also looking for two other people believed to be connected to the attack a white male and a woman with blondhair who were in a second vehicle.
Investigators do not believe it was a random attack.
