Police seek 3rd suspect in fatal shooting in northwest Calgary

Calgary police are searching for a third suspect in a shooting in the city's northwest last month that killed two men.

Calgary police are searching for a third suspect in a shooting in the city's northwestlast month that killed two men.

On Aug. 28, police were called tothe northwest community of Sandstone for a reported shooting.

Abas Ahmed Ibrahim, 27, and Mohamed Khalid Shaikh, 19, were killed, while a youth who was also shot was taken to hospital.

Police said it's believedthe shooting was targeted.

On Aug. 31, police chargedDennis Wong, 20,with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder, and one count of being party to the offence of attempted murder.

One week later, police charged a second man,Gerald David Benn, 23, with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

On Thursday, police asked for help from the public in locating a third suspect, Jordan Jay Ward, 20, saying in a release he is "believed to have critical information about the fatal shooting that could help advance the investigation."

He facestwo charges of manslaughter. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.
