Dennis Feldmanwas arrested last week for breaching a court order obtained by the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council.

In November 2015, a Court of Queen's Bench justice ordered Feldman, owner of Miks Motors Inc., to immediately stop operating in the automotive industry.

That court order was issued just months afterAMVIC cancelled the company'sbusiness licence foroperating contrary to Fair Trading Act regulations.

The councilbegan its investigation of Miks Motorsin May2014 after it receiveda complaint from another local dealership.

Miks was allegedly advertising stock it didn't own, and was creating ads with images poached from competitors.
