Halloween candy contained white pills, Lloydminster RCMP report
Closer inspection revealed Snickers bar wrapper had been opened and resealed
At least two children discovered pills in their Halloween candy inLloydminster,RCMPreport.
The first incident involved afull blister pack of pills found in a bag of candy while the second was a pill found inside a Snickers bar.
Police said achild bit into the bar to find the white pill.
The child did not ingestthe pill, found to be stamped with the letters "APO",but gave it to her parents who called police.
A closer inspection revealedthe wrapper had been opened and resealed.
Thecandy bar was collectedin Lloydminster in the Lakeside area, RCMP said.
Police continue to investigate andurgeparents tocarefully examinetheirchildren's candy.
Lloydminster straddles the Alberta/Saskatchewan border, about 250 kilometres east of Edmonton.
