Tim Bosma trial: forensic dentist testifies on tooth fragments

After a morning taken up with legal arguments, jurors were back in a Hamilton courtroom Tuesday afternoon to hear more evidence in the trial of two men accused of killing Tim Bosma.

Jurors were excluded from the courtroom for the legal arguments and the details of what was discussed cannot be reported because of a publication ban.

The first person in the witness box was was forensic dentist William Barlow.

TheSuperiorCourt trial is now into its fourth week.

The accused Dellen Millard, 30, of Toronto, and MarkSmich, 28, of Oakville have each pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Bosma's death. The 32-year-old from Ancaster, a suburban area of Hamilton, was last seen on May 6,2013, leaving his home to take two men on a test drive of a truck he had advertised for sale online.

Bosma's burned remains were found on May 14, 2013, on a farm owned by Millard. The next day, Millard was charged with murder, and a few days later, onMay 22, Smich was arrested and charged with murder.

The Crown previously told the jurors that some of Bosma's remains were found in an incinerator, known as The Eliminator, found on Millard's farm.
