Bombers give inside look at nearly-finished stadium

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers new stadium is nearly ready for its first event.

Crews are putting the finishing touches on the Investors Group Field on the University of Manitoba campus ahead of the One Heart Winnipeg event.

The religious event is scheduled for this Sunday, nearly a month before the first game.The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will kick off their 2013 CFL regular season on June 27 at the field against the Montreal Alouettes.They play an exhibition game against the Toronto Argonauts at the new stadium on June 12.

On Wednesday, CBC's Mitch Peacock got a tour of the training facilities and fan area at the new Investors Group Field, where the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will soon be playing.
