Giant pothole swallows SUV in Trois-Rivires

An SUV fell into a giant hole in a Trois-Rivires, Que.road Tuesday morning.

Resident Andranne Gagnonsaid she and her partnerwere standing nearby watching the water from heavy rains accumulate in the road when the SUV drove right into a hole.

"My partner called 9-11, and I went to go see the man in the car to make sure he was OK, and we got him out of the car," Gagnon said.

She said the man was fine, if a little shocked.

She said she's lived there for three years and has never seen anything like that happen before.
