Parents and teachers form human chains outside Quebec schools
Public sector workers, teachers to hold multiple walkouts in November
Parents and students stoodarm-in-arm outside Quebec public schools this morning to protest against compressions in education.
More than 250 schools said they planned to participate in thedemonstrations organized by the non-profit groupJeprotgemoncolepublique.

The pressure tactic follows a week of rotating strikes bypublic sector workers, health-care professionals and teachers in wake of stalled negotiations with the Quebec government.
Teachers and support staff are expected to join in the human chainsoutside of schools.
The organization has also invited parents to protest outside of Liberal candidateDominiqueAnglade'scampaign office in the riding ofSaint-Henri-Sainte-Annein Montreal.
