Quebec Mohawk ironworkers complete NYC's tallest building

The New York City skyline has grown taller, and once again it's thanks to a group from Quebec.

On Monday, Mohawk ironworkers from Kahnawakewere on top of the One World Trade Centre, the giantstructure being built to replace the twin towers destroyed in the Sept. 11 attacks.

Workers erected steel columns that made its unfinished skeleton a little over 1,250 feet high, just enough to clear the roof of the observation deck on the Empire State Building.

The Mohawk community has a rich history of working on the New York City skyline.
