Parts of NDG and Saint-Henri appear to be hardest hit areas in the city
Thousands of peopleare without power across Quebec as strong winds took down trees and power lines Tuesday afternoon.
In Montreal, parts ofNotre-Dame-de-Grce and Saint-Henriwere hit hard. Trees were also downed in Lachine.
Vehicles were damaged by falling trees and some streets are completely blocked off.

Environment Canada says it's unlikely that Montreal was hit by a tornado. But the agency confirmed there were very strong linear winds going about 110 km/hour.
Montreal police say no injuries have yet been reported.
Hydro-Qubechas 200 crews on the ground working to restore power.
