In Montreal, parts ofNotre-Dame-de-Grce and Saint-Henriwere hit hard. Trees were also downed in Lachine.

Vehicles were damaged by falling trees and some streets are completely blocked off.

Environment Canada says it's unlikely that Montreal was hit by a tornado. But the agency confirmed there were very strong linear winds going about 110 km/hour.
