A Cape Breton man is facingmultiple charges, including luring a child, extortion and sexual interference.

RCMPin Richmond County said theylearned of allegations against 19-year-old Seth Boudreau in December.

An investigation led them to believe Boudreau had sexual contact with minors and created and distributed child pornography, Nova Scotia RCMP said in a news release.

They have charged Boudreau, who is fromFrench Cove, with possessing child pornography, sexual interference and two counts each of child luring, extortion and "making sexually explicit material available to child."

Police saidthe offences involve children in their teens, andthey believe there may be more victims.

Investigators "are actively seeking other victims and they understand sometimes it could be difficult for victims to come forward, especially in cases like this," said RCMP Const. Dominic Laflamme.

"We just want to make sure that people will come forward if they've been a victim, and if people are aware of any other information."

Boudreauwas arrested on Dec. 28 and was released on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in a Port Hawkesbury court in April.
