Mark Arendz named to Canadian Para nordic World Cup team
Arendz is aiming for his third Paralympics
P.E.I.'s Mark Arendz has moved a step closer to the Paralympics in South Korea.
Arendz has been named to the Canadian Para nordic World Cup for the upcoming season.
Arendz is a two-time world champion, and won five medals at last February's World Championships.
Being named to the team does not mean an automatic spot in PyeongChang. That will depend on his results in the early part of the season. The Paralympics open March 9.
Arendz won a silver and bronze in Sochi in 2014, and participated in the 2010 Paralympics in Vancouver.
