Who needs Deadpool? Regina has plenty of statues
Regina Mayor Michael Fougere has said no the the idea of a Deadpool statue. Superhero fans were disappointed, but it's not as if the Queen City has a shortage of bronze monuments.

After the movie superhero Deadpoolproclaimed he was from Regina, "the town that rhymes with fun", a fan started a petition to have a statue erected in the Saskatchewan capital.
If it ever comes to pass (the mayor says he's against it) the Deadpool statue will have lots of company, as shown in this photo gallery.
